"Then welcome, Tali'Zorah and Ren'Gerrel, to the house of Krovak Torr. It's not much to look at but then, neither is Krovak Torr." "You're a krogan." Ren stated flatly, having trouble believing his eyes. This particular krogan stood defiant at a solid ten feet tall. "Observant of you," the krogan chuckled, "but I'm not just a krogan; I'm the rarest kind of krogan there is." "A tall krogan?" Tali questioned. The monster, Torr, laughed heartily. "There's plenty of tall krogans Tali'Zorah, but there ain't many old ones."
Krovak Torr is a character in Mass Effect: Pilgrimage, by DementedAssassin. Completed in just over two hours, with black ballpoint pen, this study captures Torr in his small dwelling on Omega, in something that I doubt many krogans would care for - his own personal library, containing centuries of literature collected from many different races across the breadth of the galaxy.
Here, in this private, solitary moment, he silently ponders his lost clan and the future of his people...
Mass Effect and its lore belongs to BioWare Pilgrimage ([link]) and its original characters belong to The ink-stained hands and tested patience belongs to myself
What I especially love about this was the subtle details, like the haphazard arrangement of the books on the shelves and the slightly awkward yet experienced way he held the book in his hands.
A beautifully done artpiece for a character so well-written and established in a fanfic that it made me resolutely see him as a canon character.
Wow this is fantastic! He came out really well and you pay alot of attention to detail! Very intricate! Lol and Im liking how a Krogan pulled out a book and is reading ah!
